New Office Design Birmingham set for Law Society – Office Design News
The Law Society is set to move into a new office design Birmingham further to it signing a deal which will see it take 57,000 sq ft of office interior space at The Cube in Birmingham.
The society, which is the representative for the legal profession, decided that a new office design Birmingham would be required in the summer of 2011, when it confirmed it was looking to relocate its offices in a Birmingham office move for 600 staff from its Solicitors Regulation Authority, in Redditch, and consumer complaints service, in Leamington Spa.
Initially, it was thought the group had dismissed The Cube, after considering Nurton Development’s Two Colmore Square and Portland House, next to Birmingham Airport, but The Law Society has confirmed it will undertake the Birmingham office design and relocation to The Cube for its 700 staff and that it will be completed by next summer.
This has got the new year of 2012 off to a flying start for office agency in Birmingham.
GBR Phoenix Beard and DTZ are joint agents for The Cube. BNP Paribas Real Estate advised the Law Society.
