Michelmores is one of the UK’s top law firms, headquartered out of Exeter, they have additional offices in London and Bristol. Advising clients across the UK and Internationally, they won the 2012 Corporate Law firm of the Year and are ranked as a Top Tier Law firm by Legal 500. The Exeter headquarters of Michelmores is arguably the best office interiors in Exeter, with Michelmores having invested strategically in an aspirational working environment that attracts and retains the best talent into Exeter. Nearly 300 personnel work in the building over 3 floors in more than 30,000 sq/ft. of office space. With their business rapidly expanding and changing, their Exeter office interiors required some attention and they asked Business Interiors to assist with the project.

Working with Business Interiors, Michelmores facilities team planned a major internal churn for their Exeter headquarters. All to happen out of hours over one weekend, to avoid critical downtime costs. Crates for personal belongings and IT were delivered the week before and the team packed everything safely to allow all the desks to move into their new locations. Electric and data outlets, carpet and walls were relocated to match the new layout. Over 180 storage cabinets alone were relocated alone, along with their contents, to new positions in the building. Come Monday the office was ready for work again, and members of the Business Interiors team remained on hand to assist with fine tuning as needed.
