Horizon Media was founded in 1989 and today is the largest independent media services company in the world. Growing quickly they needed new office space to bring together their scattered staff across the city of New York into one building. It’s new space, interior designed by a+i architecture by covering 115,000 sq/ft brought the entire company under one roof over three floors in the Hudson Square Business Improvement District established by Mayor Bloomberg to attract creative organisations as tenants to form a new media hub. The building was originally a printing factory with high ceilings and plenty of character to work with, a+i cut some stairs between the three floors allowing light to flood through and encourage interaction between all the staff. More importantly, the space is an achingly cool, sharp office design, and a great place to work.
UNFORTUNATELY WE HAVE HAD TO REMOVE THE IMAGES FROM THIS POST BECAUSE APPARENTLY THE PERSON WHO GAVE US PERMISSION TO USE THE IMAGES OF THIS OFFICE, DID NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO USE THEM. BUT THE PERSON WHO DID GIVE US PERMISSION, IS STILL SHOWING THEM HERE. SO GOOD LUCK! CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW TO SEE THEM:
