The Company has a strong identity and culture, built up over the 31 years of its existence. It employs a dedicated workforce of c.180 people. Within its market areas Fugro Seacore has a reputation for providing innovative solutions to the many engineering and environmental challenges that characterise marine projects, and for getting the job done.
The workplace needed to be functional, comfortable and practical and true to the Seacore values. The chairs for example are not only ergonomically excellent and aesthetically pleasing but they are also made from 44% recycled material in keeping with their tradition of innovation and environmental responsibility.
The work environment itself is clean and functional - with functionality as the main driver. Storage was a major requirement and these have been planned in numbers but in an easily accessible and clean manner. Glass is maximized to maintain the open feel - manifestation is at a minimum to maintain visual transparency where possible.
Coming from a predominantly closed office environment into a more open situation - the desk system is deliberately chosen to be "stackable". In order to "close" the office should it be required.
